Many treatments from healing traditions have been developed over hundreds, if not thousands, of years through a process of trial and error on thousands of patients.
No matter how much research is conducted, there will always be numerous treatment options available that have little or no data beyond anecdotal evidence to support their use.
There will always be treatments being utilised that will ultimately be shown to be safe and effective as well as the ones that will be harmful and futile.
Many conventional practitioners, medical centers, health care systems, health care providers and universities are beginning to recognise the public’s desire for information about and increased access to alternative and complementary medicine.
